Irina Stojanovic, LMT

Irina StojanovicIrina's practice focuses on Swedish therapeutic, relaxation and deep tissue massage. Into each of these styles, she incorporates trigger point therapy, Shiatsu, Thai and reflexology. Her goal is to provide a safe, caring environment for therapeutic massage by working with clients to help them feel their best and be their best at home, work and in their favorite activities.

Although her educational background is in physics and engineering, she decided to pursue massage therapy because of the growing scientific and medical research confirming the efficacy of massage for a variety of illnesses and ailments. Irina believes that time-tested, traditional methods of healing like massage, acupuncture, and herbal medicine should be integrated into modern medicine as a way of preventing and managing chronic diseases.

Irina listens and learns from her clients about their discomfort and medical history. She then customizes her therapy to meet their needs. She is currently enrolled in Master's program in acupuncture and Oriental medicine at New England School of Acupuncture and is looking forward to adding this new set of skills to her practice.

"If we could give every individual the right amount of nourishment and exercise, not too little and not too much, we would have found the safest way to health." –Hippocrates

Lauren Weisman

Lauren WeismanFor Lauren, giving massage has always come as naturally as breathing. She started as a child, being asked to work on friends and family, intuitively knowing how to find and fix physical issues causing pain and distress. The same is true today. Lauren's clients seek her out because of her ability to feel and correct muscular imbalances in the body.  Her work is deep and healing, releasing energy trapped in constricted muscles and scar tissue, and providing the  space needed for recovery and restoration.

Lauren became a licensed Massage Therapist over 20 years ago. She graduated from the New England Academy of Therapeutic Sciences in New Hampshire where she completed 1,000 hours of training and achieved National Certification.  Since then Lauren has continued her education, receiving  multiple certifications in Medical Injury and Orthopedic Massage, as well as completing a year-long course in Ayervedic Medicine.  Lauren's specialties include Neuromuscular, Pre-Natal and Deep Tissue massage. Her sessions are customized to fit the particular needs of each client and she may also incorporate muscle testing, Tui Na, Trager, Decongestive Therapy and Reiki in her sessions.

Before her work in massage, Lauren graduated Pre-Med from Adelphi University. She holds a Masters degree in Social Work from Simmons college in Boston and worked as a licensed therapist for over 10 years. Lauren's not- so- secret passion is music. She has worked in the past as a professional singer and continues to sing as an avocation today.
